- J.T. Tamm Associates was founded in 1982 and specialized in power quality equipment including: UPS Systems, TVSS / filtering and voltage regulating transformers.
- Jerry Tamm retired in 1999 and the company was reorganized and renamed Power Techniques, Inc.
- Since 1999, Power Techniques, Inc. has grown to four outside sales people, one full inside sales/service coordinator with state wide coverage.
